Viewlocity was established in 1999 as a spin-off from a supply chain integration company, to leverage integration tools and experience in development since 1986 and deployed in over 3,000 installations throughout the world. Since then, Viewlocity's supply chain software has dominated analyst rankings for the visibility and event management category.

After being acquired by Supply Chain Consulting (a global provider of enterprise software solutions and services) in 2006, the Viewlocity product suite expanded with the addition of a carbon management solution, CarbonView. Our carbon management solution, CarbonView™ (www.carbon-view.com) enables companies to implement pragmatic green strategies, while simultaneously improving their business performance. CarbonView™ is the first solution in the world to provide organisations with a complete solution to measure, monitor and optimise a company's carbon footprint in the extended supply chain. Viewlocity now operates as a separate entity across 18 locations in 12 countries, with 100 employees.
